Biografia
Ukończyła Wydział Muzykologii Łotewskiej Akademii Muzycznej im. Jāzepsa Vītolsa w Rydze w1984 roku. W latach 2006-2008 studiowała na Wydziale Historii i Teorii Muzyki w tejże uczelni (praca magisterska Rezonans modernizmu w muzyce łotewskiej). Jest pracownikiem Szkoły Muzycznej im. Emilsa Darzinsa. Opublikowała książki: Tematyka muzyki łotewskiej, Tematyka XX-wiecznej muzyki łotewskiej oraz artykuł w książce Szkoła muzyczna Emilsa Darzinsa w latach 1945-2005 (2005/2008). W październiku 2007 uczestniczyła w II Kongresie Letonica.
Graduated from the Musicology Department of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music in 1984. In 2006 she started her MA programme in the Department of Music History and Theory, also at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, which she completed in 2008 (thesis: The Resonanse of Modernism in Latvian Music). She is presently a teacher in the Music Theory Department of the Emils Darzins School of Music. Her publications include the following books: Themes in Latvian Music Literature, Themes in 20th Century Music Literature, and an article in the book The Emils Darzins School of Music in 1945-2005 (2005/ 2008). In October 2007 she participated in the 2nd Letonica Congress.
